St. Cuthbert’s Church Closure
It is with great regret that, following a review of the fixed wiring installation of St. Cuthbert’s Church, we have been instructed by the Trustees of the Diocese of Motherwell of the immediate closure of St. Cuthbert’s church on health and safety grounds. This situation will last until further notice.
For now, all Masses and services will be held in St. Ninian’s.
Saturday Vigil 6.00pm Sunday 9.30am, 1100am and 5.00pm
Weekdays Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri, Sat 9.30am Wednesday – Eucharistic Adoration 9.30am
Rosary Weekdays 9.00am
If anyone requires transport to St. Ninian’s from Burnbank, we will endeavour to make arrangements as soon as possible. Some parishioners have kindly volunteered to wait at St. Cuthbert’s church in their cars until just before service times to offer lifts to those without transport. We would appeal for more volunteers for this.
At this difficult time we appeal to the parishioners of St. Cuthbert’s to continue to support the parish by their attendance.
